The Bristol Writing Collective 

The BWC exists to connect writers in Bristol who want to write together, read together, or otherwise get together. They run writing sessions to get work done in great company, as well as a group for reading work.

Bristol Writers Group

BWG is an informal group which is always happy to hear from prospective new members who are committed to writing, and giving and receiving critiques, on a regular basis. The BWG meets to critique each week in different locations in Bristol.

University of Bristol Writing Short Courses

Offering adult part-time learning courses that are open to the public, most of which require no qualifications for enrollment.

Solar Press

Bath-based independent publisher, reprinting lost classics and publishing future ones.

South West Writers and Authors Facebook Group

South West authors and writers group has been set up for any author based in Bristol, Somerset, Devon, Dorset and Cornwall to get marketing or publishing advice and to network with and support other authors.

Bristol Folk House

An adult education centre providing a variety of part-time day and evening courses and workshops. The Folk House offers a welcoming place in the city to engage your creativity and learn new skills.

The South Hams Authors Network

The South Hams Authors Network is a not-for-profit group which allows local authors who are serious about publishing their work, or are already published, to exchange ideas and contacts. They hold monthly meetings in Ivybridge, and occasionally Totnes.
