Spoken word event

Tuesday 28th October

The Butcher’s Hook, High Street, Thornbury

Four of the authors published in Life and Death from The Bristol School of Writing will be reading at a spoken word event in Thornbury, just north of Bristol.

The FREE event will be held at The Butcher’s Hook, High Street, Thornbury on Tuesday 28 October at 7 .30pm.

The authors are:

Claire Jaggard, who wrote the funny and touching ‘The Added Benefit of an Off Switch’

Tony Domaille, who wrote the wry and amusing ‘Unrequited Love’

Hilary Smith, who wrote the moving ‘Speechless’

and

Simon Clarke, who wrote the dark story ‘Bitter Sanctuary’

Because of time limitations, the chances are that we will be reading new and different  (and slightly shorter) stories, but the Life and Death collection will be available to buy, as will books from a range of other authors taking part in the event.

So if you can get there, please do come along and support local authors!
